2025 is already shaping up to be a big year for the ambient/atmospheric types among us, and it’s with this in mind that the good people at Excite Audio are (um…Excited?!?) to launch their awesome new Bloom Synth Atmosphere-the latest release in the brand’s highly lauded Bloom series of plugins.

Recalling the seismic, blissful textures of artists like Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Brian Eno and Øneheart, the Bloom Synth Atmosphere boasts plenty of functionality within it’s attractive user interface, with its 8 banks of phrases and one-shots all operating in sync to the key and tempo of your project.

With the ability to sequence deep synth ambiences, sound beds, arpeggios, textures and leads to be further manipulated by way of three distinct effects and four unique macros (Lo-Fi, Modulation, Width & Submerge) all in real time, there is plenty of room for expression and experimentation here, with the Bloom Synth Atmosphere.

Furthermore, the dedicated sequencer and sample editor provides even more in the way of tweakability and personalisation, with the latter allowing for pitch and transient editing within the plugin, in turn making it an extremely functional tool at the workflow/compositional end and bringing things somewhat back down to earth.

We are lucky enough to have a copy of Excite Audio’s new Bloom Synth Atmosphere to give away to an ambient obsessed mutech.media reader.
